PRAYER | THE POWER OF PRAYER!

Prayer draws its power from God. Each person must learn to recognize the opportune moments for prayer. When the desire to pray arises within us, it is essential to concentrate and address God sincerely. Prayer is linked to the Light, for it carries within it the Divine Force. Yet one must know how to pray so that the prayer is received and answered by the Light. Everyone who prays hopes for an answer, but not all receive one, for the manner of praying makes all the difference. A prayer must be heartfelt, targeted, attentive and concentrated in order to ASCEND and be received by the Light.

Not every prayer addressed to the Light is automatically received. It must first rise towards the Light, and then be welcomed by It. Its welcome depends above all on the inner openness of the person who prays. This disposition is essential: the person praying must remain attentive to their intention, to the meaning of their words and to the deeper purpose of their request.

Some prayers require time, depth, and special attention to details. Others must remain brief so as not to drift from the subject presented to the Light. In every case, a true prayer must be sincere in its movement upward, rightly directed, carried by a genuine inner openness, and focused on what is presented to God.

Prayer is therefore not limited to kneeling or uttering words. Prayer engages an inner path that demands attention, sincerity, and openness. It is within this deep disposition that it can ascend, be welcomed by the Light, and truly bear fruit.

When a person prays, they hope to be answered and to receive a response. However, if this response is slow to come, some conclude that their prayer has not been heard by the Light. In reality, the prayer first follows an inner path before being received. To bear favourable fruit, it must be formulated with accuracy, sincerity, and according to the appropriate way.

When prayer becomes a mere habit, without concentration or a true inner disposition, it loses its force. Praying out of routine, compulsion, or solely to fulfill an obligation is not a right way to address the Light.

If one prays without being inwardly receptive, the prayer risks failing to attain its goal. It then transforms into a recitation of words, instead of becoming a true encounter with the Light.

Some prayers are uttered in weariness, without an upward movement or deep desire. They then arise more from external pressure than from a sincere intention directed toward God.

Sometimes people pray to satisfy others’ expectations or to give a good impression. Yet, this attitude diverts prayer from its true meaning. Prayer must not seek human approval, but must arise from a sincere intention directed toward God.

In the time of Moses, he would withdraw to the mountain, far from the people, to pray to God. In those days, the Light chose servants who were open to It, in order to intercede on behalf of everyone. These servants carried a divine mission and remained in connection with the Light.

However, everything also depended on the inner openness of each individual. Those who knew that Moses was ascending to speak with God could receive the Divine Force that descended upon the people who were open to the Light. Others, absorbed by their daily tasks or distracted by their thoughts, failed to receive the Force.

Jesus came to teach people how to pray. In those days, the Light permitted everyone to address God freely and directly. Yet, many did not understand this openness.

Jesus knew how people received spiritual teachings. That is why He gave them an example of prayer. However, many limited themselves to this example, believing it represented the only prayer transmitted by Jesus.

The disciples of Jesus learned to pray according to His teaching, while the teachers of the Law practiced a different manner of prayer. This difference sowed confusion. Those who truly followed Jesus improved their way of praying, but many considered the example of the prayer that Jesus had spoken and taught to others as a prayer to be recited under all circumstances.

With time, the manner of prayer was meant to evolve. Yet, the misunderstanding between the practices of the teachers of the Law and the teaching of Jesus pushed some to create their own way of praying, according to the demands of their time.

There even existed a period when publicly reciting the prayer taught by Jesus was forbidden and could lead to arrest. This fear deeply marked the Christians. Thus, some people still continue today to recite this prayer as a fixed formula, thinking that it must be repeated on every occasion.

Over time, as they delved deeper into spiritual teachings and those of Jesus, humans have allowed their manner of prayer to evolve. They no longer limit themselves to reciting the prayer given as an example by Jesus; they have learned to address the Light directly themselves. They have understood that no intermediary is necessary between God and humans to present a prayer to the Light. Everyone can therefore turn to God with sincerity, in a right inner disposition.

However, certain servants receive a particular mission: to help others on their spiritual journey. They are accompanied by the Force of God, which sustains them in the fulfillment of their task.

Certain servants have the mission to pray for those who request it. However, this grace is not granted to all servants on a mission. Those who receive it carry within them the Force of God necessary to fulfill their task on Earth.

Conversely, some people claim to pray for others without having received this Force. Their prayers then produce no real effect and cannot resolve the difficulties of those who seek their help.

This is the case with false servants who pray for others without having been truly sent. One sometimes sees certain people fall during worship or at the moment of prayer. Yet, a true servant, having received the force and grace of God, cannot be knocked over when praying.

Even before they begin to pray, the Light covers them and accompanies them in their mission. When the Force of God acts with them, it exercises its authority over everything around them. Attacks coming from the darkness cannot reach a servant who is protected during prayer.

If a servant falls while praying, this reveals that an opening has been left, allowing the darkness and its agents to reach them.

Some servants possess a great openness to the Light. They benefit from a natural and spiritual protection that keeps them safe at all times. The Light covers them, sustains them, and prevents evil from reaching them.

They can pray whenever they have the opportunity, but in case of an emergency, the Light can also intervene quickly to protect them. There are many ways in which the Light preserves humans.

Some servants on a mission think they are not being attacked by the darkness and its agents, simply because they neither see nor feel the danger around them. Yet, they are often unaware of the work accomplished by the Light to stop these threats before they reach them.

They are indeed under attack, but the protection of God and the Light spares them from many dangers.

Certain servants of God receive particularly dangerous missions, sometimes bordering on sacrifice. They confront the agents of darkness and intervene in places where the danger is very real.

When they act under the direction of the Light, God protects them. The Light gives them the necessary instructions to proceed with discernment in these difficult situations. Since It sends them into these perilous places, It also watches over them.

In certain emergencies, they do not need to pray at length: the Light can intervene swiftly to protect and support them in their mission. These servants usually act discreetly. They rarely show themselves, but their actions bear witness to the mission entrusted to them.
 

The Story of Germain: His childhood and his meeting with Pastor Jacob

Germain was born into a family deeply marked by crime. His father, Edward, and his mother, Valentine, belonged to a gang in America. They had two sons, Germain and Austin. When they went out to commit their crimes, they left the children alone at home. Upon their return, they would recount their deeds, as the children listened.

Edward was eventually arrested for murder and sentenced to death. Valentine then fled with other gang members, taking the children with her. Life became very difficult for the family. To survive, Germain began begging to find something to eat.

One day, while he was begging in the street, a pastor named Jacob walked past him and felt inwardly that he should help. He stopped, asked his name and the reason for being on the street. Germain lied, saying that he was an orphan and begged to make a living.

Pastor Jacob offered to take him to his church so that he might find shelter there. Germain refused at first, but then agreed when the pastor promised to give him some money. Upon arriving at the large church, he finally decided to stay for a while. There, he received clothes and food.

Sometimes he would stay for two or three days without returning to his mother and brother, but Valentine knew that he would eventually come back.

After four days away, the pastor gave Germain some money. Taking his clothes, a little food, and the money, Germain returned to his mother’s hiding place.

Upon arrival, he found the door locked and a police notice posted on it. A neighbour informed him that his mother had been arrested, while his brother had managed to flee. Germain collapsed, no longer knowing where to go.

He then returned to the church and finally told the pastor the truth: his parents were criminals, his father had been sentenced to death and his mother had just been arrested. Pastor Jacob decided to take him in. Germain lived at the church while waiting for a foster family to be found for him. However, he hid from the pastor the fact that he had a brother who was still on the run.

After spending only one month at the church, Germain was already reading the Bible, knew many verses by heart and knew how to pray. In his prayers, he asked God to help him find his brother.

Two years later, he found Austin on the street. He introduced him to Pastor Jacob and asked for forgiveness for having lied by hiding the fact that he had a brother. From then on, the two boys lived at the church.

At the age of sixteen, Germain was ordained as an EVANGELIST. He preached the Word of God on the streets and in busy public places, in order to reach as many people as possible.

Germain was not afraid of the violent individuals who frequented these places. Other Christians had already been threatened and beaten there when they preached, but he would go there morning, afternoon, and evening. People looked at him without harming him. Standing with the Bible in hand, he proclaimed the Word of God.

When Germain returned to the church, the pastor was astonished that nothing had happened to him. Gradually, preaching in that spot, or a little further away, became a habit for him. News of this young man proclaiming the Word of God in the street spread.

One Sunday, after worship, Germain asked God for the strength to go out and share His Word once again. However, the local gangs had planned to harm him. Arriving at the scene, he first prayed, then began to preach, raising his Bible.

Suddenly, Germain felt a man grab his hand from behind. Turning around, he saw that the man was about to strike him. Germain then shouted his name: Jasper. Surprised, the man stopped and asked him how he knew him.

Trembling, Germain replied that he was the son of Edward and Valentine, then added that it was him, Germain. Jasper doubted at first, then asked him several questions. He finally understood that he was looking at the son of his old friend. Moved, he embraced him, weeping.

Jasper informed him that his father had died in prison and that his mother had been stabbed by rival gangs. The two men spoke at length, and Germain recounted his journey leading up to his ordination as an evangelist.

From that day on, Jasper often came to see him to discuss the Bible and its teachings. He even brought other gang members along so that they could see the son of Edward, their former leader, who had become a Christian.

Through Germain’s preaching, Jasper eventually came to faith and turned his back on a life of crime.

At twenty-five, Germain was preaching right outside the skyscrapers of Manhattan. On several occasions, criminals tried to shoot him. He would fall to the ground under the hail of bullets, but would get back up unharmed. Those who witnessed the scene were astonished that no harm came to him.

Some criminals even went as far as the church to get to him, but they could not see him, even though he was there.
Germain was warned not to get involved with a woman or start a family, as his life was constantly in danger. He had to carry out his mission alone.

He even refused to let Austin accompany him when he went out to preach in public. Germain travelled throughout America to proclaim the Word of God, venturing into even the most dangerous places to preach to criminals.

Germain had come to realize the nature of his mission. People listened to him without accusing him or reproaching him. Even the authorities regarded him as a man protected by God.

Some wanted to hire him, but he refused, because his mission remained spiritual. Germain, however, was unaware of the full extent of the protection that the Light granted him. Essential Beings surrounded him and covered him with Light so that the criminals’ bullets could not reach him.

To him, everything seemed simple, but a great invisible work was being accomplished quietly around him. Even Pastor Jacob could not publicly do certain things that Germain accomplished without fear. Germain trusted in God, who kept him safe from dangers.

He did not marry and did not have a permanent residence. He told people that his address was the church, although he had a place where he lived with his brother Austin.

Germain’s example shows that there exist on earth servants sent on highly risky missions, sometimes bordering on sacrifice. When they truly fulfill the mission they have received, God protects them.

Germain died a natural death in his bed.

Therefore, when the Light does not send you on a mission, you must not act out of emotion, imitation or external influence, at the risk of losing your life. The forces of darkness do not appreciate true servants.

Prayer carries a real force. When a person opens their themselves sincerely to God, this force acts upon everything linked with darkness. Darkness trembles before true servants who carry Divine Force.

Prayer attracts a positive energy around people. It need not be uttered aloud or learnt by heart: it can arise from within and receive God’s protection. Discreetly, it can act for oneself, for loved ones, or even for those who are far away.

When it is deep, prayer becomes a way of speaking with the Light. One must therefore be mindful of the words spoken, for the one who prays is addressing God. God listens at all times, but people often close themselves off from Him when they follow paths that do not lead to the Light of Truth.

When you pray, remain focused on your prayer and set aside any thoughts that distract your intention. This vigilance allows prayer to remain directed towards the Light.

Incantations cannot be compared to prayer. Prayer is addressed to the Light, while incantations seek the support of darkness.

Some agents of darkness, still spiritually weak, may believe they are praying or meditating, when in reality they are invoking demons. This is why one must remain vigilant during prayer: darkness may attempt to divert it from its true direction.

This is especially true for those who have recently converted to the Light. As they still remember certain incantation practices, they may unconsciously mix these old habits with their prayers as they learn to pray.

In times of joy, misfortune, suffering or trials, some people may give rise to very powerful prayers addressed to the Light. When it comes from the depths of the heart, this prayer carries great spiritual intensity.

The Story of Mariam

Mariam, a young Arab girl, saved her war-torn country through a prayer born of the pain and tears caused by the loss of her loved ones. Seeing orphans weeping for their parents, she asked God to grant a blessing to her country.

In the Afterlife, certain women who serve God work in a temple. There, they receive the prayers of women on Earth who are suffering and ask for Divine Grace for their lives.

These women on Earth then receive God’s blessing, without knowing what is actually taking place in the invisible realm.

Some children learn to pray by watching their parents. They imitate them, closing their eyes just as they do and repeating their gestures. Yet some of their prayers do indeed achieve their purpose and can bring adults a blessing or grace.

One must therefore not take lightly what children do when they imitate adults. When a child prays with purity, the Light may be present, listening to them and acting. Even though some children may be influenced by darkness, others possess the Force of God.  Sometimes, they speak to adults about spiritual realities that the adults do not yet understand. Yet what they express may well be true.

The example the child Oscar Ernst

The Lord was already an example in His family. He spoke truths that His brothers often greeted with mockery.

As a child, Oscar Ernst would pray for His father, who snored when he came home and disturbed those who came to sit in the living room. In His prayers, He asked for the snoring to stop.

One day, His father indeed stop snoring, which surprised Oscar Ernst Himself. Few people would have believed that His prayer had brought about this effect. Yet, even from His young age, the force of prayer was already at work in Him. He thought of others, sent Light through His prayers, and could not bear to see people suffering.

Prayer possesses real power, but it must be rightly directed to bear its full fruit.

Intercessory prayer can help those facing difficulties, blockages or heavy spiritual situations. It can also support the deceased who are unable to detach themselves from their bodies or from the place where they are being held back, so that they may continue on their path.

However, the one who prays for others must be deeply open to the Light. This openness is even more essential when it comes to helping to free a deceased person. Such prayer therefore requires caution, discernment and inner preparation.

If a prayer of intercession fails, the deceased may follow the person who prayed for them and plead with them to help them detach themselves from the place where they are. Disembodied spirits sometimes seek help to leave the places where they are held; when they sense that a person can support them, they may follow that individual to their home.

Therefore, before undertaking a prayer of intercession, it is therefore to discern carefully: the place in question, the intention of the prayer, and the spiritual openness of the person praying.

A Call To Pray Without Ceasing

Remember to often send prayers to those who are suffering, all over the world: people affected by war, hunger, illness or a lack of care. The prayer of a person who is deeply open to the Force of God can reach many people, even from a distance.

Do not only pray for yourself or your family. Pray also for those who are going through hardship, whether it be a people, a family or an individual in danger. When you hear of suffering somewhere, do not delay in offering a prayer to God.

Ask that His Force may reach that place, protect those affected and support them spiritually. Do not neglect prayer: pray without ceasing, for you do not know from where a dark influence seeking to harm you, your children or your family might come.

We pray that all who read this spiritual teaching may receive God’s blessing and grace. May those who are ill, even when healing seems impossible, be touched by Divine Grace.
